Important Information

Mailing your horse hair

• Horse hair vases require you to mail approximately 20 strands of tail hair to Hammer and Clay - once you purchase this item, you will receive mailing instructions via email.
• If you order a vase in person at a horse show, Hammer and Clay will collect the hair directly from you.

Vase Shape

• Each vase is unique. Your vase won't look exactly like the example photos, but it will be that general shape.

Vase Use

• Vases are for decorative purposes only. Not food safe. 

Design Durability

• Items are coated in a UV protective coat, however, it is recommended to keep them out direct light to preserve the horse hair decoration. 

Due to the production process of these unique vases, items ships within 4-6 weeks of receiving horse hair from the customer.

Because these vases are created using a pit fire technique, and the artist is in Arizona where there are summer fire restrictions, shipping of these vases is only available October - April.
